Cookie policy

Applies to praydy.com and app.praydy.com. As of 26 October 2026. The German version is the legally binding one.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website places in your browser. Browsers also offer local storage, where settings are kept without being sent to a server. You can view and delete both in your browser at any time.

Website praydy.com

The information site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. In your browser's local storage we keep only two entries: your language choice (praydy.lang) and a note that you have seen this cookie notice (praydy.consent). Neither leaves your browser.

App app.praydy.com

The app uses strictly necessary storage only: a sign-in token (cookie or local storage) so that you stay signed in after confirming your e-mail address, and your settings (language, appearance, tradition, music presets) in local storage. These entries are required for the service and need no consent (§ 165(3) TKG 2021). They are removed when you sign out or delete your account.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google; Google Fonts sets no cookies. For a donation or a purchase you switch to PayPal, which sets cookies on its own pages under its own policy. The embedded audio examples are served from our own server.

Managing and deleting

You can view and delete local storage and cookies in your browser settings; afterwards the cookie notice appears again and the language is detected anew. Because we use no optional cookies, there is nothing further to consent to or object to.

Changes

Should we use analytics or other optional services in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent through the cookie notice beforehand.
